I was moving to the UK from Israel and didn’t know how to start getting my career back on track. It wasn’t my first international move but I was still feeling lost. Wojo tips helped me overcome the fear to reach out to new people here. The coaching session also helped me see through the imposter syndrome and appreciate how much I had to offer. I soon put together a portfolio of projects that allowed me to capitalise on my background while learning new things.

While studying for an MBA I realised that I wanted to become a Product Manager but I didn’t know where to start. I signed up for Wojo and realised that to become a PM I needed to act, theory wasn’t enough. So I took on small projects to build up my product portfolio – it helped me get a Product Manager role. I also met fellow aspiring and experienced product people. This supportive tribe kept me going in periods of frustration and is still a great source of inspiration.

I had been working on financial products for 4 years when I started to feel unhappy. I had a good salary, level of responsibility and respect but lack of joy and purpose. The job was very demanding and I felt trapped – too tired to look for a new job, too demotivated to stay. Wojo exercises helped me break this loop and navigate my way out of the burnout. It enabled me to see my competitive angle and get an offer in a tech company.

While searching for my first UK job (and my first Product Manager role) I attended several Wojo workshops. They covered topics like how to prepare your CV and highlight your transferable skills. I met a lot of people in the same situation as myself, we shared stories and tips with each other, and it helped me stop being afraid and start making the first steps towards my goal. After a few months from signing up to Wojo I secured my first London job – a Product Intern role.

I came to Wojo after deciding to stop working on my own startup. I felt ready to go back to full-time employment but wanted to move into a different field. The job search wasn’t progressing as well as I’d expected and I felt I was lacking focus. Wojo's coaching session helped me identify more structure to my career goals and identified qualifications to study. I felt a lot more confident afterwards.
